To get the most from the product, here are a few care instructions to keep in mind:
① Securing the clip-on lid
The silicone lid has eight flaps on its underside. To secure the lid, lift and wrap each flap around the edge of the tray to seal the lid securely and to prevent any spillages.
② Removing frozen portions
Either run the tray under warm water for a few seconds and hold portions to release, alternatively leave the tray at room temperature for a couple of minutes, turn the tray upside down, and push the pods upwards to release.
③ Labelling the lid
If you want to label the lid, this can be done with a ball-point pen, however the ink should be removed with a hot cloth or warm soapy water before placing it in the dishwasher.
④ Caring for the product
Silicone is generally a durable and tough material. With that said, avoid placing the product near sharp objects such as knifes, peelers and skewers during storage and washing. Do not scour with abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
⑤ Cleaning the product
The tray and lid can be washed in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher. Some scented washing products may leave a residue odor on silicone, so as with any silicone product, it is recommended to use mild dish soap or a mild, more natural, dishwasher detergent.
